● Faces of the Enlightenment

The main publication of the Year of Enlightened Nobility 2021 was the book Faces of the Enlightenment, containing biographical profiles of several dozen of the most important personalities. The simple structure of the book consists of a comprehensive study by Ivo Cerman, divided into several themes, followed by individual profiles with portraits of personalities, their relatives, vedute of residences, and other period illustrations related to the lives of the aristocrats presented. The book, which uses materials from the collections of the National Heritage Institute and several European cultural institutions, was nominated for the Most Beautiful Czech Book award in 2021.
